I would drop a couple of snares in the hole with a few fresh sticks. It works for me.

Frank,I have set these open spots before.I still use 330s and castor mounds.If you are able,still go with this set up. Yes you can double stack 330s ,if you are,nt going with castor mounds. Tom

I love pond beaver, even with the ice on. Just have to find the den and any other bank holes, and set 330's in them. The smaller the pond the easier it is.
