When nearly half the people in the country hate nearly all of the other half, and some seek personal gain from fostering this hatered, we are in big trouble. Instead of being thankful for all the freedoms we have and simply going about our own lives, many choose to focus their thoughts on how others are different and hate them for it.

There is nothing more anti-American than hating someone because he has a different view than your own.

Your other point is very accurate. When radio personalities found out how much profit could be made by constantly whining about politicals parties and how easily so many of their listeners could be turn into devote followers, many Americans joined up like sports fans who believe all their team does is right and anything done by the other team needs punished. It certainly didn't start since trump gained the office.

People are just sore losers and getting worse, with encouragement. Look at the debacle at the last Super Bowl. Even before the game began. Human nature I guess.
The side I'm buying into is what the losers have said and done in front of cameras that cannot be denied. They proudly put their hatred out there for the world to see. But some still try to sweep those actions and words under the carpet and pretend it didn't happen, while it's still happening.

Do you believe that anywhere near the majority of thecountry has radical views and hatred for anyone not like themselves? I don't think we are near that point yet. But if we buy into what politicans and some of the news tells us, things will continue to worsen.

It has gotten to the point where any but the most radical conservatives are called rinos. And the most liberal members of the dem party believe the countries focus should be soley on issue like homosexuals, trannys, and some of the most perverse issues. Most of America lies somewhere between these sides but are being ignored by the politicians and the press.
