In some cases I suppose it might be hard to distinguish weasel damage from that of a mink.

Do many of you do dryland blind trail set for mink with 110s? Last season all mine were trapped in bottom edge water sets, but I heard of a guy that was telling me he looks for their trails in the grass and said he catches them blindly that way. Of course a blind dry body grip set requires daily checks.

I wouldn't use a 110 for mink in a dry land set unless it was on a slide wire to deep water.

To catch mink on land the 120 is the trap you want. You don't need a magnum, the 120 will dispatch them quick and humanely. In a 110 on land a mink will often stay alive for a while and the result can be dmgd fur,and a wrecked location that could have produced multiple catches.Of course dmg fur would not be a concern if trapping nuisance out of season. A 110 is fine if the caught mink winds up in the water.

Do some of you like to use 1 of those little wire pieces that hangs between the 2 triggers? I suppose those are for 160 users.

Some mink are quite smart. Setting at the direct source of the complaint isn't always the sole answer. Sometimes it may not be a small pen they are getting into, as some people let their poultry roam more than just inside a chicken coup.
