Any you guys ever speckle trout fish in saltwater? yes rm,had a job at 20 yrs old in texas fishing for those in the intracoastal canal(waterway) we used shrimp also we seined for bait and nightly caught 300-400 pounds on poles off 9 docks. We caught trout,flounder and redfish nightfishing off docks with lights shining on water. An occasional shark would swim thru the light

I agree, saltwater specs are better than freshwater trout. We catch them in Florida on mirrolure plugs. From where I live in NC, we can be to Panama City about as fast as Hatteras. Love both places.
