I just use wax paper or a big soft leaf.

A quick fire latch job and maybe a leaf or two, better than carrying a bunch of stuff to keep track of Keep it as simple as possible

I was using foam underalls and they worked great for me for years but for some reason FnT decided to make them thicker so in my opinion it added to much tension to the pan. I used polyfill before that but didn’t like how it got everywhere after a catch. Now I’m using the colored polyfill in OD green and I think I found what I’m going to stick with. I used a 50/50 sand/peat moss mix inside the jaws and cap with a light coat of native soil to blend in. It’s been working perfectly.

We usually don’t need wax sand in Texas but I’m pretty sure after 36hrs of sub freezing tempts I might have traps frozen down tonight and in the morning.
