My guess would be owls, they have gotten several of my rats and mink over the years. They often times come back to the same spot the next night,looking for another meal. Tom

Turtles around here are very inactive once it starts snowing but no tracks and only parts under water eaten could point to a turtle. Don't know if mink are known to eat other mink. Figure an otter would have left more sign.

Would be nice if a camera could watch all our sets. I've had a number of things on my lines over the years that couldn't figure out
