John Deere. Excellent quality. Top resale value and great product support. Maybe....The Deere dealer by me would not deal and was $6000 more for a comparable tractor with bucket, finish mower and snow blower. He went out of business 5 years later.

My Kubota dealer is a grouch. The Kubota tractors themselves are reliable. I tend to like the brand with a friendly dealer. No point in supporting a grouch.

John Deere. Excellent quality. Top resale value and great product support. There was a time that this was true, not so much anymore in the smaller tractors. Even the big farms around here that run green in the fields wont touch the green compact utility size tractors. The saying in these parts is over 60 hp, go green, under 60 hp, go orange or red. I was raised green, but im currently shopping other colors....

I have a 2020 Kubota and am frankly a little disappointed. The regen thing is a pain and the linkage for the PTO keeps causing issues (PTO stays engaged). Have had the dealer address the issue twice. Guess what? Still a problem.
The service manager is also a grouch.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

The service manager is also a grouch. What model and trans? I have been looking at mx 5400 or an M series. I need bigger for the farm but an L would be better for driving in custmers yards.

I bought a Kubota KSU3300 ( I think that is the right model #) about 11 years ago. Its 33 HP and hydrostat transmission. Use it mostly to blade snow, maintain my long gravel drive way and hauling up firewood. It runs forever on a tank of diesel. Got less than 200 hours on it. Has a factory loader. 6 ft. blade and a bush hog. Great little tractor, one of the best things I ever purchased. Got it new from the dealer in Sheridan Wyoming. Got a draw bar, loader , 6ft blade, 6 ft. bush hog, delivery charge and all the oil, fluids and filters for the first 100 hour service for about $19,000. Dealer was great also.

Looks like Kubota is the fav. My friend is a nurseryman and agrees.
Have a Woods 59-c under mount mower I'd sell or trade. Used one time, it made the garage queens rims dirty and has not been used since. Set up for Farmall Cub. I need to list this thing. Or, hire a fab guy to mod it to my Ford.

I too am thinking about purchasing a under 40 hp tractor for my acreage to be used for snow removal and mowing grass. I am leaning toward turf tires because of the mowing. Does anyone have any experience with turf tires and snow removal? Will utility tires leave marks in the grass when mowing? I have found turf tires to work with snow removal. But then again I don't get as much snow as you do. I actually prefer a tractor with turf tires with good tread on them.
