Looking to buy a dozen bodygrips for muskrat . Should I buy 110s or would it be better to buy 120s ?

Why buy 110's when, for a few more dollars, 120's are a more versatile trap that will definitly do the job on rats as well as mink, marten and fisher?

If they are for rats only I would suggest getting 159s. I got some 159s a few years ago now I never use my 110s

Do they have marten and fisher in Missouri? Seasons?
I'd just buy the 110's if your after muskrat only

X2 but I’ve always called them 160s 6”x6” single spring.Those 5”x5” look interesting also.

I have be using 110 for rats.

Single spring 160s or the RBG 6" traps are the way to go for rats. Fill runs better than 110s and rats arent quite as resistant to them in more open runs

I would buy 160s and you can remover one spring easily if you want to and when you want coon or fisher etc. put the spring back on. I like the extra open space and I feel I have fwer snapped traps.

X2. I started out using 110s, and still use them a lot because they are what I have most of. I much prefer using 160s over the 110s though. As stated above they cover more area, and work great.

For mink and muskrats I use mostly 150s with some older 110 I've had for y e a r s. The 150s are my favorite trap but I am going to be using some 159's this fall also. They look like a great trap. You might need a Setter as they are considerably stronger than a 110 or 150.

If you are setting trails or bank runs the 110's work fine. If I were running baited sets I might lean more to a 150.

I would go 75% 150's, and 25% 110's. You'll find spots where 110s work great, but most of the time they're too small. And as someone mentioned, if you're using baited sets...150s. If colony traps are legal where you're located, purchase a dozen collapsible ones. They don't work in every situation, but where they do, they are phenomenal.
