That looks nice, I don’t know much about flintlock rifles, so does the longer barrel give you that much more accuracy? I use 22 for squirrels and found the shorter the barrel the easier it is to use where I hunt. The longer barrel puts the sights further apart, which makes accuracy easier. I like the longer barrels mainly for looks. Short barrels are easier to get through the thick stuff though.

Very nice gun, and you're right , a shorter gun is easier to get through the woods, but has better accuracy . Have to admit , your gun proves where the trem " long gun " comes from.

35-40 grains of FFF ...should get that pea shootah crackin !
