Anybody doing any hunting this year?

I was in the blind Saturday and Sunday from before shooting time ,till closing times both days.Saw very few deer and still have all my ammo.40 pluss mph winds all Sunday didn't help the hunting any.

Plan to fill 3 doe permits after Thanksgiving during the rifle season

I got this guy during the young sportsman hunt a week ago. It'd been raining that afternoon but I decided to go anyway and thankfully the rain ended up slacking off. I was in the stand for a good 4 hours and it was starting to get dark. At this point I hadn't seen anything and was thinking that it just wasn't going to work out that day. So I stood up and for the last few minutes of shooting light was taking a good look around just making sure there wasn't anything that showed up. I looked back behind me into the woods and when I turned back to look over the field there he was standing at about 70 yards. I slowly sat back down, got a good rest for my rifle and waited till he turned broadside, then sqeezed off a shot. He didn't go 40 yards and was down. He's not a giant but he is my biggest buck to date.

Done plenty of hunting since October 1st, but I've only seen a few worth shooting, and they have all been to far away to shoot.

Yesterday was our first day of rifle season, got this guy at 20yds chasing a doe. He's a little messed up

Got this guy last Saturday, was opening day for us.

Got me a twin to that one on Oct. 29th. It was 1st day of youth season.
