My first caller, sort of, I'll explain in a minute. That's a great question Garry. I was looking for non serious ones lol, but I got this. Time machines are not available and I'm sure your question has been ask for well over a couple millennium.

I think understanding how life works, we're born, we live, then we die is paramount to happiness. It brings a finalization that brings about how we live our lives, and that enhances how we live. Sometimes when we get older we may have doubts, second thoughts, regrets, and that's ok. We did the best we could at the time and that should suffice.

If that doesn't cut the mustard then you need to realize your still kicking and can make a difference and you don't need to be 45 to do it. Personally, I think you have a lot to offer. Your experience, the arts, and I think your a bad*** still out there trapping and getin it done. Today is not just a day, it's an opportunity for both yourself and for you to help others. Make amends if you have loose ones. Do what you need to, to get right with yourself, but keep on keeping on and keep posting here, we enjoy it.

My first caller was shy and sent me a PM. He was on another thread and didn't understand a word. The word was gibbeting. With my extensive education I was able to explain right away. Gibbeting is when they tie you up to a poster bed then strip you nekked. Then they pour maple syrup all over your body, play a Celine Dion album full blast on a 24/7 loop while gay midgets take turns putting things in your belly button.

It's very unpleasant and trust me, hard to block from your memory. After I explained he said you know what Catch, I feel better now. That's what I'm here for, your welcome! Next caller, I'm here.

That would be gibbeting as long as the execution was done in public. A gibbet is simply an object used to publicly executes someone.

My problem is my mother in law, she comes over for a visit and insists on cooking. Well I'd rather lick the south end of a north bound mule than eat what she thinks is food. There ain't enough ketchup in the world to put on her burnt offerings to make make them taste good. She wants to come over for Thanksgiving and insists on cooking her way. Hi Turtle, thanks for calling in. You have a problem that many have had. Booze, booze is the answer here, trust me. It can go either way. If your MIL drinks then load her up. Make her favorite drink, spike it if you have to and get her so sloshed she can't cook, problem solved. If she's a teetotaler then I recommend you find a nearby pub and get yourself sloshed before the meal. You may eat it but it will be good during the meal and you won't recall the next day either way. Problem solved and thanks for calling!
