Nice one jbyrd. To be honest. Any deer i have in my sights before sending an arrow or bullet. I watched 6 deer from my back deck this evening at 70 yards. I'll wait later this month before adding another to the freezer. Sarge

My “best” is a toss up. One scored better one was more mature. Both ate well. Not too impressive by the standards of guys across the country but for bow only kills in Jersey and now Md., I’m pretty proud of both.

Not the biggest but most memorable. It was November 10 2003 and I spotted this guy in a ditch in the middle of a field guarding a doe from a couple dinks. At the time I only had one rifle and had loaned it to my brother who was hunting across the woods from this location. I grabbed an Ithaca model 37 pump 12 gauge and went in. Crawled across 2 cow pastures on wet ground and got ate up by an electric fence while going under. Finally got within 70 yards of them and the doe saw me and took off. 4 a hello of 00buck later and I found this guy. My brother heard the shooting and boy was he (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) when he came out lol

Lots of nice deer pics. I like that muley elkguy. JoMiBro that looks like a wide heavy buck, and a heck of a shot you placed on him. Bowhunting is so much fun.

So there are some serious buck hunters on here, lol! A lot of awesome looking deer and great pics too!! Yeah you can’t eat antlers, but there’s nothing like watching one grow over the years and finally outsmarting him. I wanted to comment on so many on here I’d add about 2 more pages, lol. The one with the 25” spread and 29” main beams is a beast! The albino had to have been watched for years to grow to that size! Those early season bow kill bucks have some serious slick coats on them. I notice it especially when one is side by side with a November killed buck on the wall. I’ll agree that the antlers don’t necessarily mean the most to some as far as rememberable, I have one that’s nothing but a 142” 8pt with a kicker and a 3rd main beam that sticks out just because of how it unfolded. He was seen and followed on camera all year and we guesstimated him in the 120’s. It wasn’t until I saw him in person I realized he was a lot bigger than what we thought. What’s cool is I grunted him to me from 300yds away. The entire time I’m texting my son and telling him about the deer and he’s like he ain’t gonna make 140” and I’m telling him I’m looking at the deer in person!! We went back and forth the entire time this buck is “BullDawg” walking to me. It was a perfect setup, in a climber about 25ft up, the sun at my back, and the deer closing the distance. My last text to my son about what he would score was, “Well, we’re about to see firsthand what he scores because by the time you read this, he’ll be dead!” I was shaking so bad after the shot I had to wait 10min to climb down. The entire time my son is blowing up my phone asking for pics, lol. What’s cool is I had pics from velvet to the day I shot him. Even had him on video walking by grunting and all I can call it is growling while on the trail of a doe.

330 he was almost completely white, even his nose and inside his ears were snow white. He had brown patch on his forehead and a small spot on his hip. We had trail cam pics for 4 years but only saw him the one time That's Awesome !!! Good thing he wasn't True Albino in this goofed up regulation State

I am horrible at taking pictures at deer camp , the few I do take are typically in the dark as an after though. I live to much in the moment and there is always something to be doing if there is daylight wish I had more pictures

I think living in those big cedar/tamarack swamps what they rub on does that. The night was wet and enhanced the chocolate antlers, I’d decided when I took him I’d have them sprayed with gloss clear finish to keep that look. I put the cart before the horse on that one. Osky

That euro really turned out great. We get a fair amount of chocolates here, maybe my “ what they rub on theory “ is incorrect? I have a smaller 10 point rack hanging in the place that’s very dark as well. Sorry no pic. Osky

I was shaking worse than he was🤣🤣. So proud of him getting his first at 6 years old. He put in the work practicing with his 22 over the summer. I bought him a ruger American 300blk that mirrors his 22. No lie, he was holding a 4" group at 150 yards the first time he shot it.

I am absolutely blown away by the mass and overall weight of those giant Saskatchewan bucks. You win!

Not my deer, but man is this a good one, I got to do a rough score on it a few days back. Man was this kid excited. A deer of a life time for sure. The best deer I have laid my hands on and probably the best I ever will. Holy Moly ! An OK deer ? Beautiful ! ! ! !

If I EVER get a chance to shoot at one like that, that is exactly how I would want it to happen. Maybe having seen some of his rubs .... not much else. I have seen rubs that made me wonder if I brought along a big enough gun, almost gave me cold chills. But never saw the buck that made them. I moved away from there shortly after that season. Never will forget, and have never seen anything similar since. Thanks Matt ! I was happy for the kid he still doesn't realize just how big that deer is. Seems like people get lucky around here a lot, few years back a kid went and sit on a fence line playing a game on his phone and heard a sound, looked up and a buck had jumped the fence and was looking at him, he shot it and it scored 175. Guess some people got all the luck lol.

Mighty fine looking bucks. I have killed quite a few bucks but nothing like these . My all time favorite was this year hunting with my oldest daughter. She did great stock and set up. A hunt I will always cherish and remember. Jon

Way to go beardedtrapper, getting out there with your daughter. Can’t wait till mine is old enough to go, she’s going to try for gobblers with me this spring for the first time. Love those muley pics yessir! Arrowed my first mule deer this year, now I need one with those deep forks like that.

Me and oldest boy are already looking forward to getting back after them next year. This is the first year in a long time I've personally hunted whitetails seriously and that was only because of the big one my boy shot.

Seth the mule in that last picture looks like a tank , did you weigh him ? No we were a mile and a half in on public ground. Walk in only. Only way to get him out was on our backs. It was a long night. Lol Top buck was probably as big body wise lucky only 3/4 of a mile in but was by myself and it was about 85 degrees. I would be interested in knowing what those mature grain fed muleys weight though. I've never brought one out whole. They look like they weigh 300 lbs alive. They are toads. Feel like 400 after u pack them out. Lol
