Great pictures!
I have 40 years of trapping pictures from seasons that are 6 months long and trapped every year!
I have since retired and became aware of what’s going on around this world since trapping is not my focus anymore!
Don’t destroy your pictures because before long the way things are going and if change doesn’t come and people don’t start paying attention that’s all we ALL will have left is pictures the way it WAS.
I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

2/3 were gorgeous Nice catches! No Red Fox in your area Because of coyotes? I assume that is the cause, yes. I haven’t been around long enough to know what the red fox numbers used to be like in the 70’s and 80’s but I’m told they were much greater than they are now. I catch very few reds. Seems the grays know how to avoid the coyotes. If you caught 100 coyotes here you would probably catch 60 grays Awesome pics DRF and MnEric!!

Coondagger, are those black coyotes common in your area or what?

They have been this year. Not sure if it’s because I’ve been trapping more or because there are more of them, but that’s 3 so far this season on 3 different farms
