P Farm thinks the world is ending, Matt LA thinks canned otter thighs are getting trapping in the constitution, and a multitude of others can't seem to muster a positive thought

Last I checked it was trapping season. Ya know, when you go out and trap??

Let's hear about your season, post some pics. Let's talk about trapping for once

Here's a few pics from mine so far

Great pics and great idea.

I had planned on trapping the whole month of December, but I am having to push that into late December and January because of a trial. It's driving me crazy.

That has been the one reason I am cool with waiting. We are getting some much needed rain too.

Not the world just the Republic. I don't Trap tell deer season Is out except for problem animals on the farm.

You never know caned otter may be a hit. Some people like to eat goat and lamb after all.

Nice catches.

Great pictures!

I have 40 years of trapping pictures from seasons that are 6 months long and trapped every year!

I have since retired and became aware of what’s going on around this world since trapping is not my focus anymore!

Don’t destroy your pictures because before long the way things are going and if change doesn’t come and people don’t start paying attention that’s all we ALL will have left is pictures the way it WAS.

I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

I assume that is the cause, yes. I haven’t been around long enough to know what the red fox numbers used to be like in the 70’s and 80’s but I’m told they were much greater than they are now. I catch very few reds. Seems the grays know how to avoid the coyotes. If you caught 100 coyotes here you would probably catch 60 grays

Awesome pics DRF and MnEric!!

Coondagger, are those black coyotes common in your area or what?

They have been this year. Not sure if it’s because I’ve been trapping more or because there are more of them, but that’s 3 so far this season on 3 different farms
