How soon are you wanting to buy? There is a good ized silencer metering event in GA each year. It's a good place to get to shoot and hear a lot of different models. I host one at my farm in Indiana as well but the one in GA is bigger and probably closer for you. Dates have not been set for 23 yet..
My .30 cal ti can is a supressed armorment systems arbiter. Few I have heard supress as well . I shoot a 7mm08 and 243 without ear pro with no issues. Makes them sound about like a .22lr or .22 mag.

My son just got a Thunderbeast 30 and tried it on both his .30 PRC and .308. I changed the point of impact on both rifles quite a bit - 2.5 inches or a little more at 100 yards. He was going to switch it back and forth - but having to sight in the rifle with the suppressor makes the rifle useless without it Yes, they will change the POI. Have a friend that writes MOA down for when shot without and then what it's hitting at with suppressor on. Easy adjustment then if you have the numbers down.

Now I will ask why in the world would you ever want to shoot without a suppressor once you have one. Taking it off and putting it back on so it can be used with a different rifle will not change point of impact each time.

The part in red is exactly correct. Thunderbeast is VERY good about doing just that. My Rugged Radiant is also very good about it. I just make sure to start screwing the suppressor on with the suppressor lined up the same way every time.

Big R screwed the pooch when they didnt take gun mufflers off the NFA list. Good luck in your quest to get permission from a sack of faceless bureaucrats to buy one varmintshooter.

You can get a permit faster, then make your own A form 1( to make your own) takes the same amount of time as a form 4 tax stamp.

Do those cans have any affect on recoil ?
Osky Yes, by adding mass to the rifle, actual recoil is reduced. Would it be detectable???? IMO, the.larger effect would be in "perceived recoil" because of a significant reduction in the audible report of the firearm. Each 3dB (decibels) reduction reduces the sound energy by half.

It reduces recoil about 30%. Cooling and slowing b the gas down also has an effect to reduce recoil.
