I think we should all be advocates for FHA whether we ship fur there or not. They are the only company to set any market standard left. Eventually China's Covid issue's will be resolved, and the conflict in eastern Europe will end at some point. Then there Should, and I use that word loosely, be a resurgence in the entire world fur market. To what degree remains to be seen. That's all the optimism I have this morning.

People still send fur to auction houses???

Not only that it is run by and for us trappers.

I'm an ambassador of the fur industry. I'm doing my part. Apparently I can be an ambassador by only shipping 10% of what I used to. I can keep that up as long as I have to. It doesn't require near the work as when I wasn't an ambassador and FHA and I were both in the black.

I had to call to get my password as I had lost that at home and the new platform is quite different, but I did get in and was able to review my last two sale results. A question for those who may know, will we only have access to the last two sales or auctions in the future or will the older auctions be listed as well? I too miss the comparisons from auction to auction and also when PT sales happened etc. I can see the real minimal staffing during the low labor or need times. Not unlike many buyers who do other things most of the year and then buy fur or like me a fur trapper who does a lot of other things between prep, season and put up.

I have all my fur receipts from the last 30 years from Nafa Fha and receipts from other fur income.
It is with my tax files.

Dont need no computer gimmickry to have acess to that.
Anyone with no paperwork to back up any computer stuff is gonna be in trouble sooner or later.

Me too, but I would like the sold catalog posted before the next receiving date. That would be useful information. I know they have it right during the Auction. NAFA did not hold this information back. It was real time.

These are plenty of things NAFA did better than FHA except keep their doors open and write good checks.

For you guys trying to login to your accounts, what are you trying to figure out? Is there a decision pending on this information?

I have receipts as well but being able to click on your lot and review how many in the lots, the price breaks on all the sub lots etc. to me is one of the advantages of shipping to a place where say rats or coons could be placed in say 30-40 different groupings and some explanaiton as to why. Selling in other places one gets the 4-6 piles but does not always know why they are in one versus the other. That to me is not a monetary gain or perk as much as it is educational for me.

For me it's always reassuring to know the fur I sent off on the truck got there and is showing up on my account.

Other than that, mostly just curious to see what kinds of improvements might have been made to the site. Not what I had hoped for, but I get it.

Catalogs are there back to January 2015.
