Hundreds of their satellites do it daily. Just a bit higher up. I’m interested in why people are so interested in shooting down a balloon with a million dollar missile.

It's a provocation. Of course they can take pics of whatever they want with a satellite. However, the average Joe doesn't know where those satellites are. This, though, demonstrates to the whole world that an enemy can fly a balloon over the country that anyone can step outside their door and see, and Biden won't do anything about it. Do you think they developed some spectacular technology that does some thing that we don’t understand? It’s probably just a balloon. But I’m sure they want to see what electronics are on it regardless. Why would they destroy it? Do you think we will scare them if we can shoot down a balloon?

yes I'm positive they have developed some spectacular technology that does something me and you don't understand and thats why you telling its nothing to worry about is amusing to me. And yes from my understanding it's just a balloon but it ain't here by accident which means it's here for for a purpose.
