It’s proof they can send cheap, unmanned delivery vehicles over our mainland. That’s a problem if the USA and China ever go to war. Japan sent balloons with fire during WW2 to try to start massive wildfires in the Pacific Northwest. These could potentially reach anywhere in the country without even needing a pilot.

PRC developed a newer variant of a virus placed it in a container that resembles a data gathering device for a weather balloon knowing that if they tried to deliver it via a missle it would get shot down, however the idiot in the WH could be convinced it is just a non threatening weather balloon and will allow ot to travel across the less densly populated western United States towards the more densely populated east of the Mississippi River, where the fake data box can start dispersing the new virus that will be carried on the wind currents infecting the steeple..But wait that can't happen the PRC says it is just a weather Ballon that we lost control of and we, the US, have no reason to doubt the Chinese

I think its another way to weaken Sniffy through public humiliation so he's easier to remove in a few months. Then Kammy gets to be a double first "POTUS" but then gets a much stronger, more well known, more "liked" person through the Senate to be her VP, such as Michael- er- Michelle O or maybe even Barry himself.
