Our 2023 Twin Bridges Trapperman weekend will be March 17/18 with the fish fry being friday evening, breakfast Saturday morning and the Main meal Saturday around 1:00

Please RSVP so we can get a handle on how much food to purchase. As always desserts and side dishes are much appreciated

The parking at the Shelter has changed back to free access like in the past.

UPDATE ON FOOD
Friday nite...fish..thin sliced deep fried potatoes...Flounders famous cole slaw....Anna's hush puppies....coffee, soda's and water..and fried squirrel

Saturday morning...pancakes....scrambled eggs...sausage...bacon peppered and regular.....orange juice....and COFFEE

Saturday noon brisket, pulled pork...chicken...baked beans...buns..drinks......plus whatever side dishes and desserts arrive to compliment the main

courses.

We will have the fancy paper plates, and plastic silver ware plus the fancy napkins that come on a roll

Looks like 45 have let us know they will be attending

the shelter we have is shelter 3 which is the first one north of hwy 60 on hwy 137 which is between the bridges over Spring river and Neosho river hence Twin Bridges rec. area

Son and me are going. Im bringing a boat

Got a couple extra snagging rods too.

Will have to check the schedule with Mama, and see when Kylee's spring break is, but expect some if not all of us will be there.

WHere is twin Bridges?

Yes Andy. Usually after heavy spring rains. There is a dam in Miami. They catch a lot of them from the bank at times when the river is up. they stack up at that dam

Cletis, we will indeed be a group of 3. I am glad we can do this again this year, after missing out the last couple of years. I will get some goodies together for the raffle, and auction if you will do that this year!
For any folks that want to go fishing, I will have my boat as always, and we can take turns or however it works out. I always have enough equipment for at least 4 snaggers at a time.
Coolstucco and some young ladies will most likely fish with us on Friday, which is a catch and release day for spoonbill, so maybe we switch up, and get after the sand bass, but time will tell.
But one thing I enjoy, is getting folks on the water that may not otherwise have the opportunity.
