Could someone with 280 belisles take a picture for me? I need to know the inside spread of the 280 belisle when it is set. A pic with the tape measure on the set trap would be super helpful. I know the jaw spread is 8" but looking for a little more specific than that when the trap is set.

I had that exact trap on my left thumb last year. Never again will I handle a set BG larger than 160 without a safety.

In North Carolina you can't set a body grip on dry land if that measurement exceeds 7 1/2". Can't use 280's on dry land first size you can use is 220's. I wish someone would make a 7 1/2" inside measurement body grip.

If you measure the same jaw across it will be larger than 8 1/8 from the looks of it in the last picture.
