Well I guess all your prayers worked already! I just got good news. No stroke. And they're already releasing her today! Apparently, they said she is too skinny, and because she is, her electrolytes got out of whack. They said your electrolytes being off can cause stroke-like symptoms. So, all she has to do is start drinking electrolyte enhanced drinks like pedialyte, gatorade, or smart water.

I told her this morning about this post and you all praying for her, and she said to thank you all for the prayers.

Glad to hear the good news. When I read your post just now I wondered if it was something like that, Grandma would get low on potassium and it would mess her up somewhat similar.

Your mother is lucky to have you and your stepdad looking out for her.

Dehydration can do some strange things to you.
Prayers for your mom , to drink more water.
I was told the older we get the less we feel thirsty , and that's why older people get dehydrated .
