I caught my first mink today. it was down to the last 5 days of the season! I am on a mission to eat as much of what I catch as I can. does anybody know if mink is any good or have any recipes?

Whatever you do remove the anal glands before cooking.

You must be pretty hungry to eat mink, huh?

Mink were made to be trapped, not eaten

Using fur is consumption, good luck on your meal…

I remember as a young teenager trying one.
Open fire roasted.
One taste and I was sure I would never try it again.

Let us know if you get one swallowed.

Put cleaned mink on a Cedar Plank ...cook ovah hot coals for 5 minutes per side.

Remove from coals ..throw away the mink ..and eat the plank.

If you’re that hungry I’ll send you some hamburger, I’m betting it’s not going to taste worse than a mink by the time it gets to Wisconsin. Don’t do it dude, yuck.!!!
