My opinion.

Pits as a breed are dangerous. As are many other breeds popular with the small penis, bull dyke, and thug communities. Breeds like Rotts and Cane Corso and whatever rough and tough that blows up their skirts.

But like guns I am loath to tell my fellow idiot what he, she or it can own or feed however I'm cool with killing off all of them right here and now. Not as a state action but as a neighborly thing to do. You see it is the rest of us responsible canine owners that ultimately pay the penalty in increased regulation and fees.

So let's have an old fashioned blanket party and deal with the problem in the ranks without getting the brass involved.

BTW, all y'all cur owners need to pay attention because the breed tag de jour folks are hanging on these mutts is Black Mouth Cur.

I've run into several "rescues" and pound mutts in clients yards that are "BMC" that look for all the world to me to be pit mixes. Some like the one yesterday that need a bullet.

I don’t have anything against pits, every dog has its place. They are used at catch dogs down here and they are outstanding at their job. When you see a 60-70# pit hit a 250# hog, your realize you have no power to stop one if they are coming for you unless you have a weapon. Even with a weapon you better be offering an arm until they finally expire. There is absolutely no quit in those dogs.

Not sure how you put that together....

Say what you want about pits but they can definitely be a deterrent to criminal activity. The problem with pits is their bite force. Chihuahuas are much more aggressive and love to bite but no one wants them wiped out.

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 3-year-old child is in critical condition after being attacked by “numerous” family-owned dogs, according to the Niagara County Sheriff.

Friday, the sheriff announced that the child was attacked by four dogs, all Pitbulls, that belonged to a family member.


At approximately 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, the Niagara County Sheriff received a 911 call that a child was being attacked by family-owned dogs at a residence on Glendale Drive, according to the Sheriff.

Deputies, along with EMS personnel, responded to the scene where they rendered immediate first aid to the child. The child was transported to Oishei Children’s Hospital where, as of Friday, she is still listed in critical condition.

According to the sheriff, the SPCA of Niagara County responded to the scene and took possession of the canines.

The incident is under investigation.

Every pit bull I’ve ran into has been friendly…..but the home owner was around and a normal person. They weren’t raised by sh!theads. I can tell if I might have dog trouble as soon as I pull into a yard. I’ve seen lab looking mutt’s that would try n rip me apart if I was within range, others are so abused the just curl up and hide until you give em a scratch and they wanna jump in the truck with me to escape the crap they live in.
It’s all about the owner, and how it’s raised.

5 years ago we had a neighbor with a Pit bull.My wife was walking our 5 year old Granddaughter when the Pitbull went after our Granddaughter. My wife grabbed her while the rest of the neighbors took Shovels and rakes and beat the Pit Bull off of my wife. Come to find out Charleston has a two bite rule. The first bite is a freebie. Two weeks later I was in my own Garage changing the oil on my Ram when I heard something running. It was that Pit Bull again and he was coming after me. I had my 45 on the Work Bench since I took it off to get under the truck to drain the Oil. I shot it 6 times and took care of the problem. Then the owner was finally fined and guess what he did not have it insured to pay for my wives Doctor Bills to reconstruct her left hand. But since he was just a renter his Landlord had to pay the Bill. This guy originally tried to have me arrested for shooting his Beloved MUTT but the Police would have nothing of it especially since it was laying in my Garage. The Landlord evicted him and now has a steadfast Rule..... NO PIT BULLS!!!
