55 with a nice pension. Still worked off and on doing new and different jobs. Nothing lined up for this summer, might just goof off.

I retired 3 months ago on Jan. 31. 65 years old. My youngest sister just retired today. She's 61. My middle sister retired about a year or so ago. She's 63. I was just thinking about this a while ago, me and my siblings are all retired now. Where has the time gone?

Planning on 59 , start getting myself rebuilt. LOL With short term disability insurance the company has, we can be off 6 months at time. Hope to stretch it all out till in 62 or better.
Let me sugar coat this

I am not really retired. I still work when I want to. Going to start again in May for a few months. Wife says retire but I can only take so much of it. Moneys nice too. Ran my credit card up 2000 bucks in just a few days. A/C repair, broke the windshield on my jeep, bought some ammo. Can't think of any reason not to earn a little now that winter is over. Put that 2 grand back in the bank. Add a little more to it.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I retired at 59. Haven't regretted a minute of it. Have done nothing but hunt and fish and trap and spend time with the grandson.
