Growing up our family wasn't allowed to have Allergies. It was ,"Get yourself a handkerchief and get back to work". Farm work never went away.

Kenalog is a steroid and it works good, I used to get it when I was younger, now I use over the counter allegra and Flonase. Ragweed is the worst for me.

Stanley I got no breaks either. No such thing as not allowed though. If you have pollen allergies your going to be sneezing, nose dripping eyes watering and itching. Upper thighs and forearms welting up from making haystacks. Its a real thing whether you believe it or not.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I had two honey customers who purchased 2–5-gallon pails of unfiltered honey each year. They took 2 tablespoons of honey each day and stopped the allergy shots. They wanted honey from hives that had the full season of nectar, so I extracted the honey end of September from those hives.

Had bad allergies growing up. Started getting shots at 4 years old. I grew out of them at around 40. No problems for 20 years now. I feel for those that have them.

I grew up in Eastern NC. Loblolly pine pollen was so thick you could sweep it. Moved to western NC were pollen it not as visible, but it is much worse. I am in my 70s and never had allergy problems until we moved here about six years ago. I take a yellow pill every morning. It is a very old antihistamine. Chloro……? Very cheap med.

I take allegra daily and it helps. Flonase and azalastin (prescription) as needed

https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/drugs/18826-azelastine-nasal-spray

the nasal rinse pots also help. i have this one and it really helps with drainage and to clean out pollen and allergens.

I have seen some benefits from honey also and there are some published data showing this also

same for me. I did the skin prick test and ragweed reacted the most by far!
