Better just pay the 200 for peace of mind.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Why do I keep reading this thread? One thousand, nine hundred, and fifteen viewers and counting can't all be wrong. I just wish that the naysayers would apply themselves a little more. It's not that hard to keep up with coonman's dialect.

the 2004-21012 Colorado's had a horrible flange design on the gas tank, where the fuel pump attaches , they hold water and crud , then rot out and dump that crud and water in the tank as
metal flange in a depression on a plastic gas tank
there is a repair kit that you seal and screw in place
this may be your issue , may not
remember a new used truck is still likely 350 a month in payments ,but you are about to hit a bunch of issues at 300K on that Colorado what all issues can u run into at 300,000? It has low 280,000 or close to 280,000. Not sure mileage right now, has had lot components replaced all over , I am think the motor more chance that it well then it won't. Last way past 300,000. Although extreme cold an winter is hard them

all those miles that motor will throw a rod or something. none of them last forever. start saving for a large repair bill or sell it and buy another new one.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
