James the interview is worth watching as it covers from start to finish the whole day and what went on. Suffice it to say many things were not handled in a way to quell the mess it became. National guard held back because of optic. When given the go ahead to use the national guard the New Jersey Highway Patrol arrived on scene BEFORE the National Guard that was within sight. In short it was orchestrated to go down like it did.

I think one of the main points is that any serious investegation of Jan 6 events would have included this guy on their witness list.

Walleye, that does seem odd. But the Congressional January 6 Committee was a one-sided investigation. Most Republicans refused to participate, and Trump chose not to appear.

The January 6 Committee's work and report won't be allowed in Trump's criminal trial. I don't see how it's relevant at this point.

Sund says he made dozens of calls right away for 71 mintues to numerous heads and departments. Fbi, dhs Sgt of arms (senate and house) pentagon, cia etc.... to get the ok for reinforcements. He turned over all phone records to the committee, he wanted to testify but wasn't allowed, was told he Pelosi and both Sgt of arms are also off limits to testify. He was on the phone with someone from the pentagon asking for reinforcements when the shots rang out and was still denied because of optics. There's so much Sund reveals about the days before and the day of.
He was fired because of Jan 6 yet he couldn't get Intel even though SS Cia and fbi knew 19 terrorists were going to be there. He was kept out of the dark yet fired because of it. His replacement was promoted the next day by pelosi and that lady is now the chief of police for a college in Pelosis district.
