Supposebly Sam Waltons daughter has a yacht and the Climate Change girls vandalized it with spray paint. Claiming it cost 30 million a year to operate. I doubt that's accurate.

Depending on the size, the slip/dockage costs can be pretty testy especially with amenity hook ups. Insurance, most true yachts have a crew that is on payroll. She doesn’t drive it herself. Maintenance can get cute. Usage costs, fuel, food and the like. Take it anywhere and dock up all those fees rack up… I’m sure I missed a bunch but anyone with that name is probably on the Capital letter side of the word YACHT as far as size.

I was engaged at one time to a gal who’s father had a 65 footer docked up down at the Bahia Mar Yacht club and even back then in the mid 80s his yearly on that was crazy. He had a full time crew of three.
I’d have to believe this ladies is far beyond a 65 footer.

I have always heard operating expenses for an offshore capable boat was about ten percent of the cost of the boat.
