If I were to boycott them it would be because they retained my information. If they don't have it they can't give it out. Buy one you can change the combination on, problem solved. That is until they cut it open anyway.

My gun safes are for protecting my firearms from fire and theft. No safe’s purpose should be to hide a firearm used in a criminal act. Criminal act-that's the problem. If all guns besides single shot .22s are outlawed, are you gonna voluntarily open up your safe and give up the rest of your guns, since it would be a "criminal act" to own them?

I’m surprised they asked for the codes. Probably didn’t work anyway. They got terrible service. Half my key pad stopped working, the emergency key didn’t work. The person on the phone said “ya, sometimes they don’t work”…..and that’s it. Not even a $20 discount on a new safe. A Diablo sawzall blade got me access in about a minute.

No civilian is a able to deny a warrant with out lawyering up don’t matter what or where your safe or room safe is or made out of !! They have to know it exist first. A guns safe out in the open easy to see and find. Hidden buried room outside the food print of your house with hidden entrance you built yourself is much more difficult to find especially when its not known that its there. You mean like if you posted on the internet that is where your guns are stored?

Liberty safe was not named on warrant from my understanding and had no legal responsibility to share the information. They did so at their discretion and that's there stated policy. If the law enforcement has warrant for premises they willing provide the code as stated by company. It is not Liberty's responsibility to determine if the search is justified. It is the judicial system that issued a warrent based on some reasonable assumption, from the FBI, that a firearm used in a crime was concealed in the safe. What evidence did the FBI have to support that a crime was committed, on Jan 6, that involved a firearm?
