If you are God, will you tell me how you wish to be worshiped, or will you leave it up to me?

I'm not asking for me I'm asking a simple question - does God have a way he wishes us to worship him or does God want us to do it our own way.
  his way or our way
  please back up what you believe

  not meant to be controversial God has outlined a way for us to worship him in the proper way through his word Bible. Not for selfish reason but because he created us and knows what will benefit us the most and make us happy.

  I thank you When you read an article or a book, so you read one sentence, paragraph, or chapter and know the answers or outcome? There’s no one specific reference, read the entire book and you’ll find the answer.

 What about the followers of the Apostles, first-century Christians - the Bible was not "in print" until approx 350 AD - did they, in their writings describe how they worshiped?, I would assume they "got it right" being they were very close to the Apostles. has anyone read the writings of how the early Christians worshiped?
  thanks for the responses - greatly appreciated

 John 4:23-24
  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

  I thank you As K-zoo showed above. Get to know what truth is as outlined in the Bible. So, our worship must be based on God's word. Jesus said at John 17:17 "Your word is truth". Make sure it can be backed by scripture. Some places teach tradition rather than the commandment of God. Ex. 20: 4, 5 / Isa. 42:8 - Worship God only, without the use of any idol, image, or icon. Rom 12:1 - Our worship must be holy and acceptable. We must live by his moral standards. Heb. 10: 24, 25 - You're to gather together.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman).
  17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
  18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
  19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
