I'm 67 and in the same boat. Alcohol and ibuprofen.
I wear copper bracelets and copper infused spandex on the knees. Call me crazy but I think it helps maybe

I am not nearly as old as you guys but I have had a ton of broken bones in my life and I am paying the price for it now. I broke my pelvis in 7 places so the hips tend to lock up from time to time. I hate to think what it will be like if I live to be 70.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I'm 42 and it's killing me right now. Between my sciatic and whatever is going on with my knee, the weather change is terrible right now. The only thing that is keeping me going is lots of vitamins and taking pre workout when I have to do something that requires physical labor. I wish i could go back in time 20 years and slap myself for working the way I did.

I have recently entered the world of CBD gummies and they have helped a lot.

I have it all through my body. Recently had a total hip replacement and and a total shoulder replacement because of it. Need another hip and knee replacement. 800 MG of Ibuprofen is the only thing that helps relieve the pain. However, have to take breaks from using that high of a dosage. Tried numerous other meds and other things that didn’t work. Also, exercise and keep moving helps.

Knew a carpenter plagued by debilitating arthritus and he had no relief from traditional meds. He heard about and tried cherries. Ate 4 ounces of cherries every day. Didnt matter sweet cherries, montmorency cherries, cherry pie, frozen cherries...didnt matter, just whatever was available. He said it worked wonders on reducing inflamation.
I sure liked the idea of cherry pie every day... smile

I am 77. Just had an eye problems a month ago. Arthritis in the white of my eye, causing my retina to wrinkle. Who the heck ever heard of such. See retina surgeon again tomorrow. Called scleritis I think. Big dose of prednisone. Not much progress but forever thankful that my retina is not detached.

Beat up old carcass here it takes a little movement in the morning to get going but I’m always on the go so the miles have exceeded the warranty a long time ago.

43 and really feeling my low back(disks/ nerve issues) shoulders, knees, and hands where they have been busted ans joints on them cramp and fingers are very stiff at times.

To much physical work and auto wrecks catching up fast. Add in many days of being up 24 to 36 hrs. At least 3 or 4 time a month and I getting to where in paying for it now. Left for work at 5 pm yesterday after geting up at 7 am got home around 10 am. Took truck to shop went looking at more hunting places on public land got home about 330pm. Wife and boys left for 4 h forestry practice I was going to go sit in a deer stand since bucks are chasing hard. Instead I went in the bedroom to change eyes were rolling back in my head and I sleep tell about 630.

Stretching, working my bees(stings) and eating healthy is all I do. I don't take any meds none. I need to incorporate a steady scedual and rest or I'm going to end up in the hospital or in the ground.

The old injuries to your body that really come back to haunt you. Lenny, the best stuff I found is Diclofenac Sodium tropical gel. OTC at wally world, but I get mine from the VA. Follow the directions. In decent weather, without a front, I can put it on once a day, and get by the rest of the day. They say you can put it on four times a day, but I have only needed to put it on twice in one day. Roy Greenfield turned me on to it, and I thank him for the tip every day!
