Gov't needs out of mandating what a vehicle has, period!!
From mandating back-up cams to fuel mileage, we need less gov't regulations.
Its almost chore to pull a vehicle onto a two post lift anymore. It senses the posts and puts the brakes on, vibrates the seat and any other thing they can think of. Bunch of bs
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

There is way to many people working in government as a whole. Those clowns get bored and come up will all sorts of BS Ideas just to pass away the days it seems. Give them each a shovel and let hem scape the sod off the side of the highways. at least they would be doing something almost useful.
Personally I am way past caring what har brained Ideas the come up with next. EPA crap is out of my vechiles stupid alarms are disabled etc. I'll keep my gas and wood stove and will carry on eating meat. Screw them

Bunch of bs I really really like the manual roll down windows that I have on my Ram truck. I can't stand electric windows. Manuals are so versatile . I had my mechanic install a truckers oil gauge , so that I don't just have the stock gauge to go by. He says the truckers gauge will never lie. As for seat belts, of course they are used in driving, but there's other times you don't need to have them, such as when parking on the estate to wash it, or just to move it on the property. Or to hitch up a trailer. You are not driving down the road. That would drive me insane to have a vechile that won't move unless the seat belt is buckled.

Next thing you know kids will be wearing helmets when they ride bikes. In my state (CT) kids under a certain age have to wear helmets when riding bicycles. Not for adults. Also we do not have a helmet law for motorcycles , just eye protection. Why ? Simple , kids can't vote but adults can. I wear a helmet whenever I am on my Ninja. I encourage others to do the same. But , I am against any mandatory helmet law. " Let those who ride , decide "

The government shouldn't tell you not to be stupid, however, you shouldn't be a fool and not wear a seatbelt. Agree. I often buckle it behind my back on my roads, but once I am on public roads, I wear it. Because I don't want to die.

My old.scout leader would be alive had he not been wearing his seat belt. He e ded up upside down having from it and could not get loose. He died from that before anyone got to/found him. But you never hear about these cases.
Guess what my kids have been driving my trucks since they were under 10 probably started around 6. 4.wheelers and side by sides before that. We ride in the back of the truck at times also. O and I have never felt the need to lock my guns up to keep the kids.safe either. Infact they know where they are and can get them any time they need them. Have been able to for.years as long as they asked first. Ran their own traps by themselves for about 3 years now so since 8 and 10.
It's no wonder today's men 20 - 40 still live with mommy and speend.all night playing.vidwo games a d.have no ambition. Mommy and daddy think they are keeping them safe and don't give them responsibility or give them the chance to fail and get hurt.

I had to disassemble my Tacomas buckle to disconnect that crap. Sure having your seatbelt on at all times is safe but its not practical. I'm not hopping in my truck and buckling up when I'm bombing down 2 tracks checking traps every 2 miles. Key in ignition alarms are another thing that pisses me off. The only noise my truck makes now is low fuel.

My opinion of the matter is why do we have to wear seatbelts if we are by ourselves in a vehicle? I understand if there are other riders then if there is an accident you can be thrown around inside the car against each other but why do we have to wear them when we are alone? It hurts no one but ourselves so why can’t we make the decision to not wear a seatbelt and not be penalized for it? Oh that’s right! The government decided hey we can make money off of this so let’s roll with it! They say it is to protect the police and first responders from seeing blood guts and gore in messy accidents, I say if you can't stand those kind of sights find a different job or get tough
The job of a Patriot is not to protect his country but to protect the people from the tryannical government

You never hear about people killed because of seat belts. It's always because they didn't use them. I went through a windshield because I didn't wear a seatbelt. The steering wheel drove the seat I would of been sealed in through the back seat . I just don't see why the government is so set on saving our lives , yet promote killing the unborn. You see how that works? They tell us how to live , yet kill those that have no voice .

I also remember reading about a little girl trapped by her seatbelt , in an over turned van , that caught fire. The parents couldn't save her and heard her screams as she died in the fire.

Know of a couple that drowned in a drainage ditch because of wearing their seat belts. Had a friend that was killed in a head on collision not wearing a seat belt some county deputy was saying he would of survived had he been wearing it. The whole engine ended up in the front seat. Makes me skeptical of all the claims they make they would save so many lives.

And to think, my dad let us kids ride in the back of his truck to go fishing and baseball games…. Today he’d probably be locked up for child endangerment. Sad world, and even sadder that the sheep will chastise in the government’s place.
