I've peed on my sets in lieu of fox pee just to see what happened. I caught fox is what happened. grin

My old Ishman packbasket gave up the ghost last season so I fastened a plastic kitty litter bucket to a 1944 military packboard to finish out the season. Moon VanSteenberg and his daughter just put a new Ishman together for me, I haven't even had a chance to get it treated and into use yet. Same quality as when Moon's grandfather started building them!

Duluth Pack is a generic term. The one I use would probably hold a square bale of hay volume wise. It has wide, padded shoulder straps, waist belt and cinches on all sides to keep the load from moving or shifting. If you put 3 good beaver in it, it is a struggle to get up off the ground with it. When I can, I will cheat and hang the pack from a tree and then load the beaver in it. I can get everything cinched up and ready to go before I put it on my back. I am not smart enough to make 2 trips.

2015 Bearcat 570 Snow machine and a Trail Noggin sled. Had an aluminum box on the snow machine for survival stuff and food. Last one when I quit.

I've got one of those fiberglass back packs I'd give you if you were closer I hate that thing. Loud, uncomfortable, and narrow shoulder straps. I like the Weiser beaver bag if you can still find one
And yes, I do a lot of walking

You might also look at Montana trappers bags. He made them for Weiser

A nice woven split ash basket. Much better than the ones made from veneer.

For beaver trapping, I bought one of those nifty fiberglass backpacks a few years ago.

That's what I usually use if I had to walk a fair distance with quite a few traps. Otherwise, I'd use a 5 gallon bucket.

I looked up the Weiser one and really like it but it’s out of stock. Has more pockets on the outside! Thank you I’ll keep looking.

The 1 I posted up is a copy of Montana bag. More pockets on side you can’t see in picture

I’m usually in my truck, or quad/snowmobile with sled. I’ve got a Forsyth bag too. If I’m packing stuff in I use this old CA army pack. Got a scabbard on the back frame to hold a chainsaw, holds 4 330s and whatever else in the pockets.
