Stanley forgot more about trapping than I will ever know. I don't use the dirthole for an ashtray and try not to pee directly on my sets but I doubt it is the first time those critters have smelled it. Lugnut runs farm roads that smell like diesel and oil yet he catches critters. I've peed on my sets in lieu of fox pee just to see what happened. I caught fox is what happened.
 Eh...wot?

I've got one of those fiberglass back packs I'd give you if you were closer I hate that thing. Loud, uncomfortable, and narrow shoulder straps. I like the Weiser beaver bag if you can still find oneAnd yes, I do a lot of walking

I trap out of my truck on my fox line. I almost exclusively trap on two-tracks and tractor lanes on farmland and can drive right up to most of my sets. I have a 5 gallon bucket full of peat and a trappers bag with a shoulder harness that holds all my gear for the sets I have to walk in to. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/01/full-272-203125-img_7379.jpeg) For beaver trapping, I bought one of those nifty fiberglass backpacks a few years ago. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/01/full-272-203126-img_7380.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/01/full-272-203127-img_7381.jpeg) That's what I usually use if I had to walk a fair distance with quite a few traps. Otherwise, I'd use a 5 gallon bucket.
If removing guns saves just one life it's worth it. Then if deporting illegals saves one life is that worth it?

You might also look at Montana trappers bags. He made them for Weiser I looked up the Weiser one and really like it but it’s out of stock. Has more pockets on the outside! Thank you I’ll keep looking. | | |
