when shooting Deer or bear in brush Your brain says...theres a gaping shoot- there's another shot SHOOT. you aren't plowing bullets through brush , You are automatically choosing the best gaping for a shot.

Brush busting bullets for the most part are a myth.

correct , it is threading the needle shots for the most part

we tested some 180gr and if you hit a half inch plywood the bullet was on course enough for about 10 yards to still expect a decent shot we had an 8 inch group 15 yards past the plywood and target

sometimes there is a little something you don't see that you might hit but your definitely not trying to hit it

where if a lighter faster bullet may not stay together

slow and heavy seems to have some benefit if you do hit something. is 30gr enough to make a difference ?

when you start talking 45-70 heavy from a few tests I have seen but not done myself

you still don't want to hit anything it just takes a bigger object to displace a heavier bullet
