Dan D OP trapper D Joined: Mar 2012 Ohio	Have to admit, I haven't seen a live hockey game since Barry Melrose played for the Stingers. I do keep up on my Buckeye news. Wished I knew how to post a video. Player from the women's hockey team made the top 10 on ESPN this weekend. For those of us that don't watch hockey on a weekly basis, very impressive. Eleven Warriors if anyone wants to see.

bblwi trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 East-Central Wisconsin	We go to a couple UW Badger women's games each year. Hard to get tickets as they play in an arena that holds less than 4k. Yes the Ohio State women are a strong team and have been for a few years now. UW men's team is doing well too. Never saw an NHL game live. We have the GB Gamblers not far away and have been to a few of those. Always been a Black Hawks fan ever since Bobby Hull and Stanmakita spelling) Had some really good years a decade ago. Have been at the bottom of the league for a few years now. Bryce

Sullivan K "Keith" S Joined: Dec 2006 Northern Ohio ...	My son started playing hockey as a very small child, could barley skate. Played the house teams and then made the travel team. Talk about miles and miles of travel. Talk about expensive!! One year he took a growth spurt in the middle of the season and I had to re-outfit him. Skates ain’t cheap. Buying ice time at the ice rink was not cheap. Good God I think that I had more fun than him. It was fun just watching him skate, he was an excellent skater. He scored four goals in one game once. The only pro games that I have ever been to were the Red Wings. My grand daughters boy friend plays on the high school hockey team.

It's a lifestyle. I traveled all over the midwest. September till April. Then summer leagues. It was fun. I miss it.
