I don't have a lot of $$$, but I have been considering a collection of O/U shotguns. I'd like to get all the gauges of the CZ Drake or similar in .410, 28, 20, 16 and 12. More of a nastalgia thing, I suppose, than an investment. Anyone else do crazy stuff like that? Most likely, I would never shoot them.

My first shotgun was an itiica model 37 feather weight. My father has a 37 in 12 and 16. I am a left handed shooter so the bottom eject is good for me. I have been looking at 28 ga. and dang they are spendy I would like to have the full set but I am not sure I thica ever produced a 28 ga in model 37.
I can't believe that cop put me in the back seat when I clearly called shotgun.

I've been eyeing the CZ Redhead Premier 20 ga. for using. I just think it would be cool to have a full collection of a certain gun. I'd prefer the Beretta Silver Pigeon collection, however, I don't see that in the budget anytime soon.

If it something you would like I would start looking. A collection doesn't need to be completed right away. If it takes years to complete that is what makes it fun.
I started a collection but never completed it. I wanted a collection of model 12 Winchesters. I have a 20 and a 16 gauge and that is all the further I took it. Not sure I have the interest to get the other model 12 now.
Good Luck and do what makes you happy. It isn't like throwing money away it is any investment and can get what you have into them someday.

Go for it Keck, there certainly are worse hobbies and more expensive collectibles. Poster child here.
MTbowhunter Ithaca started production of model 39’s in 28 gauge in 2008, I believe they started shipping them in 2009. No sign of them any earlier than that.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Better tell your wifey that they are just an investment for your will. She will just be happy to know I am spending some money before it rots in the safe. LOL

I once owned a Winchester 101 O/U, 3 inch magnum. Traded it in on a Browning semi auto. Wish I never had. That was one fine shotgun.
It's been months since I bought the book, "How To Scam People On Line". It still hasn't arrived yet.

Model 12s I have about two dozen in various gauges ect, the first half doz were inherited from dad’s family, the later ones mostly fancier then the straight work guns of the family have been bought over the years and I have only shot one or two. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/02/full-7756-208562-09b42932_7a7a_4eac_a2fa_99c8085b9eac.png) Silver inlay, gold inlay, pigeon grade, trap grade o so many different options
