Sorry to tell you Vinke you may not have to take the exam but licensure is still required, just some alternatives to taking the exam like apprenticeship.
I support the change even though I think it was made for the wrong reasons.

Well something like 60% of those getting out of law school fail the bar and just another reason to lower standards.

Got to say I don't care what rCw you are but when I need a heart surgeon, or lawyer I want the best not someone that couldn't pass the test so they eliminated the requirements for the rest or scores needed to pass.

If only the law was based on common sense, some amount of empathy and compassion, and innocence til proven guilty; rather than the other way around. Wishing I was a judge, so I could tell attorneys where to put their compromised sentencing agreements, used just to simplify their workload.

Sweet ! I’ve got a cousin by the name of Vinny that can now be a litigator.

So how will minorities feel when their lawyer is not as skilled as an opponents traditional lawyer? Will that also be discrimination? Can someone refuse a court appointed lawyer who never passed the bar exam?
