What has state farm done?

Yes TSC has gone off the rails. I won’t be shopping there anymore. Next time I go to town I will stop and personally tell the manager.

They replaced the real Jake with a woke Jake.
The WNBA games are inundated with woke State Farm commercials.

I can’t believe how many people I have heard that canceled State Farm. They must have really ruffled a lot of feathers.

Its not the managers fault and they can not do a darn thing about it. Don't go in there and ruin his/her day. Write a letter to corporate instead.

I suspect most companies could not keep their doors open with just the business from us old white guys. They are trying to cater to all forms of customers.
As has been expressed on here many times if you do not care for a companies policies do not support them.

I think this may be a little more insidious than we know. On surface, all they have to do is nothing. Just stock and sell products their customer base wants to buy. Cater to 1,000 customers and not worry much about the 1.

Where the rub comes in is from the outside. Outfits like Bloomberg and Blackstone evaluate these companies and give them scores for DEI, wokeness, etc. If they don't measure up, the big pension funds, etc won't buy the stock. So they go woke. Make 1 person happy and offend 1,000 by doing it.

Spot on Clay Creech. We had an Orschelns in our little town and it was a good store. Even had some trapping supplies. They were bought out by Tractor Supply. Now half of the store is dog food and they carry very little of what Orschelns had. I went in there awhile back just needing some electrical tape. They didn't have any. Our town could use a good farm store but Tractor Supply isn't it.

We had Orscheln stores in every decent size town around here.
TSC bought them out.
Went from a dang fine store to the most overpriced, unorganized, joke of a business I’ve ever seen. I was done with them before all this woke deal. I did see that their stock price is way down. No surprise here. Everyone around here hates the place.
I hope they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

That being said, how many really go there for serious business? TSC always can across as one of these yuppie outfits for upper middle class Karen and ken types larping as farmers with there backyard chickens and stuff.

We have a Runnings that opened up by me in Burlington, Wi.
They have a great assortment of products including a decent gun department, reloading and trapping supplies.
There whole outdoors department gives Fleet Farm some competition.
The TSC down the road can dry up and blow away.

We have one here too. I really like the store. They seem to carry just about everything. I buy a lot of stuff there.

I choose not to shop where Democrat policies are funded or celebrated.

It took nearly 2 years for the buyout of Orshlens by TSC to be completed. Feds got involved over antitrust and monopoly of trade, so eventually, Orshlens was sold to three competing outfits. TSC, Bomgaars and Bucheits. If you were lucky enough to get one of the latter two, not much has changed. TSC.....not so much. They are just a nationwide box store selling lowest denominator crapola to the urban rubes. All the Duke 110's, 220's and DP's I have came from Orshlens. You won't find anything at TSC much bigger than a rat trap.

In some of the small MO towns like Carrollton and Salisbury (Clay Creech country), I fully expect TSC will eventually close those......despite both being located in buildings less than 5 years old. They will expect people to drive another 30 miles to the nearest TSC. Best anyone can hope for is they do close em and somebody else takes them on. There are some good ones out there. In addition to Bomgaars and Bucheits, there are Family Center, Farm and Fleet and others. Outfits run by people who know their customers and what they want and need.

Our local livestock suppler could get Purina by the pallet in the #50 bags.

Good for them. Not contributing to the human rights campaign, ditching DEI and carbon emission goals. I plan on going there tomorrow to shop

The wreck happened, the question is now, how long will the recovery be?

CNBC article published this morning states tractor supply announced it will eliminate DEI roles, withdraw carbon emission goals, and walk back supporting LGBTQ communities.
We customers screamed at direction they were going, and evidently the company listened loud and clear.
