Get the protectee covered and off the X immediately. Triage on the way to a secure location.
Do not engage the threat. Leave that to the other teams. The initial attack may be a diversion to set an ambush by a second shooter or to pin down the protective detail.
Movement is safety when getting off the X.
Go! With no cover and zero concealment it was past time to get going. That is the issue I have with DJT fist pumping. We should have been headed to a different zip code by that time.

Do you suppose Trump knows he was set up and it was an intentional security breach? Will he trust the alphabet agencies anymore or provide his own security? I'm sure that idea is getting floated. Not a bad thing for his team to be thinking that way, imo.

I missed quite a few pages of this but how did the shooter know that rooftop would have no one on it? He had to be burning up on that roof it was 90 that day I think it got too hot for him for sure..... I think he basically just got up there some how, walked to top laid down, found target and started firing. Don't think he was up there more than a few minutes

Don't think he was up there more than a few minutes That roof could not have been comfortable to lay on in his shorts and tshirt. Even if he had a blanket/tarp laid down.

Just spoke to my buddy In ocean city Maryland about Saturday. He is retired marine fighter pilot. Had his own squadron. Big talk among them up there is that the SS snipers had the guy in the cross hairs but didn't shoot until he fired. There was 1.4 seconds from first shot from the shooter until he was killed. No way a human can adjust and get on target that fast Or the sniper was getting on target and was a second longer than was needed. Yes the shooter was shot ( shot at) more than once.
That is something to think about. So....less than 1.4 SECONDS is all the time the shooter sent rounds? I call BS on that info. That would allow only one shot, maybe 2 if rapid trigger pull, from the shooter.

You can bet it didn't matter if shooter was killed on first shot they didn't stop until they saw spray or brain matter in their scope. WHAT the greatest weapons system in the world can't shoot faster than Lee Harvey Oswald !!!????

I googled rate of fire for an AR . Several sources say 350-400 Rounds per minute. So even with Ky math that 5.8 -6.6 rounds that can be fired in a second. Just saying . He had 1.4 seconds so I bet it can be done. Guy I'm talking to is retired marine colonel . I bet he or someone in his circle slow mo'ed the video and timed it. That's if it's made full auto Not on semi, human fingers don't move that fast

I bet whoever hired that assasin was (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) off lol... imagine spending about $20,000 and your assasin missed like 5 times  the worst part would be he didn't even get to punish him! The really sad thing is that the guy hit a firefighter that was protecting his wife and daughter. Imagine having a good day and then that happens to your dad and husband. Pure evil... I seen a video of him getting carriera of the stage and I regret watching it and it even made me feel terrible.
