Just watched J D Vance speak about his grandmother. Upon her death they found 19 loaded handguns spread throughout the house, Vance stated that his grandmother couldn't get around very well-but she wanted to get to a gun if her family was in danger.
She even had one in the silverware drawer. Quite the woman.

What she did could be a real indication of Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Vances grandmother didn't suffer from either Alzheimer's or dementia- she just wanted to have one she could get to quickly if she needed one.

Kinda neat hearing Middletown, Ohio mentioned several times. Grew up in the town next to it and have worked in Middletown most of my life.

My dad was like Grandma Vance. When he died and I went to clean his stuff out of his house I found seven handguns hidden around the place.

Middletown sounds like a rough place to grow up......what with all the drugs........and grannies packing. Sadly, probably not unique. They say over 100,000 over dose deaths per year across US.

Scourge that ought to be curtailed.......if not eliminated. Nothing good comes from it. Hopefully, if elected, Vance takes that up as an agenda item and wipes that out.

My uncle had a long gun behind every door. Guy tried to rob him, uncle reached behind door and showed him the way out.

I think Vance was a good choice. Between him, and Elon's support, Trump is picking up a lot of support from the notoriously blue Silicone Valley. While CA will no doubt remain heavily blue, a lot of financial support can come out of the Valley.
