KeithC OP trapper K Joined: May 2009 Posts: 17,148 Champaign County, Ohio.	I've seen several posts on here about using a freezer alarm. I always thought it was a good idea, but never acted on it. Today I walked into our mudroom and noticed a faint rotten meat smell. One of the two, largest available size, packed full, freezers got unplugged and all the contents are ruined. It's a few thousand dollar, horrendous mess of a loss. Buy and install a freezer alarm. Keith

Told the wife next time we are at Lowes I will looks and see if I can find me something like that. I feel you bud. Hate that for you.

I have 3 freezers two are full of non perishables and I go into the other one every day or two When I go away I have a neighbor check the house every couple days with instructions to move perishables to working freezer.if the one goes out. Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
