Make the most of your posts then and ask in-depth questions for what you’re trying to get an answer for. I’ve lost track of what your goals are. Was 300 coon, then breeding beavers in a pond, then martin, then groundhogs, then fox traps you got bored checking. K9s, cats, fox? What animal(s) are you targeting? | | |

That's a broad question. From a broad angle view, I doubt there's a furbearer in north America other than beaver that isn't attracted to a mink and muskrat musk combination, which is likely the basis for most curiosity lures. For specific animals, red fox gland is hard to beat for fox, and fish in any form for coon. Don't spend too much time in the quest for the perfect lure. Go with someone who has been in the business for awhile and ask them what they recommend for various animals.
But if making it yourself I'd start with the mink and muskrat musk for everything and straight castor for beaver.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I like Hiawatha Valley for store bought canine bait. For store bought lure I like Widow Maker

Cannot beat beaver meat for bait and beaver castor for lure-for all furbearers. My sentiments as well. May not work as well as some commercial lures, but you can't beat the price. If I go after yotes this fall I'm planning to learn more about gland removal for some added flavor.

For k-9s, my go to lure is Night Owl red fox gland. Really, any quality red fox gland lure will be attractive to both fox and coyote. For baits, I've had good luck with mouse-based baits, as well as with Apple Road baits.

Since he's trying to control his enthusiasm and limiting himself to a certain number of posts I'm going to assume he's talking k9s as that was the last animal he talked about targeting. Little O I use my own stuff with full confidence in it.

He's trying, I think we could maybe do the same...
Is his limit self-imposed?
