I just have my wife bring me cash from the bank time to time. She deposits my checks. Puts money in savings. If I need a card I use a credit card then give my wife cash to deposit to pay for whatever I bought. Its a good system. Lots better than being along and watching her go through the procedure outlined above. Shes good at keeping track of our checking account so I dont mess with it.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I love women, I think they are wonderful, but if you let it, their illogical way of thinking could drive you nuts. Women, maybe not quite all women, are incapable of arriving anywhere on time or making quick decisions on ordering food, even from restaurants they have eaten at a great many times. Women generally don't want you to solve their problems, even if they are ridiculously easy to solve. They want you to empathize with how their problems make them feel.
Keith I arrive to work 10 minutes early. I consider that early. My husband considers it late. I wouldn't choose to go to a restaurant unless I already knew exactly what I want. If I must go to the guy's restaurant of choice, yeah, it might take me a couple minutes because I don't want ANY of it, I wanted what I wanted and now that that's no longer an option I need a moment to decide which menu item is the least disagreeable. I'm sure I must have brought a problem to a man at some point before having made a decision, but it's not often. When I bring my problem to you, my mind is already mostly made up. I bring it to you only wanting you to confirm it, or tell me I'm insane. If the latter, I WILL reconsider it, but most times won't change my mind, lol.

It probably comes from growing up as a tomboy and hanging around with mostly boys. Drifter probably has less frustration than a lot of us guys do. I hate being late. I see no reason for it unless there is some sort of major emergency. I have tried all sorts of techniques to arrive as a couple on time, with limited success. Keith

I've tried an equal amount of techniques to not arrive 45 minutes early with the same results, lol.

I still don't know what/why it takes so many women 5+ minutes to get in a car , buckle a seatbelt and put the car in gear I have no idea what else they are doing but I see so many sit there for so long. to be fair I am seeing some men start to do this also.
I got lucky my wife is ready to drive 30 seconds in the car , get in , start , seatbelt , gear , go
are they setting up their entertainment , checking emails and texts , syncing phone to car , I don't know
but I do know if you watch a woman walk to her car and the car starts , do not expect that parking space in the next 5 minutes , just go find another they will be there doing whatever it is they do for 5-7 minutes
parking spaces are not typically an issue for me I park out in truck parking , I am going to be 2/3 of he way to the end of the lot where I can pull through the space and not back up and not have someone next to me if possible.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I dated a gal in college that could NOT get into the car without checking her makeup. Every single time.
