Beautiful cars, guys!

I once owned a 427 Ford Galaxie with a 4 speed. Sure wish I could have that car back just like all of you who got rid of their big block classics.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Incredible car , one of my favorites .

I enjoy watching the videos of Patrick Glenn Nichols ( sp) and his guru status of the ls6

Gotta respectfully disagree on the sexiest front end. 1973 that I’m restoring for the second time. 30 years since the last rebuild. Matching numbers Z-28 RS car. NOT a big block. 350 LT1 engine.

THIS is the sexiest front end over… grin

Nice cars guys.. every one of them. These cars are some of the most desirable cars of the 60’s and early 70’s. We all have our favorites and boy that sunfire yellow big block dodge is manly and sexy at the same time. Look at hips on that girl. That’s one car that looks good coming or going!!

Still have a 496 BBC, or at least I hope I do, sitting sister's garage. Aluminum heads and intake are sitting in my basement, I'm sure of that. What maybe not, wife said she was going to get rid of some my junk while I was gone. Ok, maybe I had a 496 at one time.

Best I had was 66 Chevelle SS with 427 L88, four speed and 611 gears or 613, don't remeber exactly. Sure did spin the slicks.
Wish I had that one back.

Nessmuck, I believe that question was for me. My old man, who originally restored the car with me when I was 16, is the paint guy. I just turn wrenches. Probably having more fun with him at almost 70 than anything. This is my reflection in the hood while taking a picture.

Doing it all except the exhaust. Just finishing up underneath, moving onto interior next.

Boy, that brings back some memories! My Dad had a crew cab square body 1 ton single rear wheel with a wood floor bed when I was in High School. He had the body redone and transplanted a "built" 454 in it. The truck had come out of Canada and with twin glass packs on it, it would just about make the wax run out of your ears.

I have nothing clever to put here.

If I remember correctly, it was a Canadian railroad truck so it may have been ordered that way. The instrument cluster was in Kilometers, I remember that. Dad bought it to pull a 40 foot Gooseneck trailer and with a load on, those pipes really did rattle. As I recall it got somewhere around 8 MPG too. It was expensive to take up town on a Saturday night.
