Kayak , do you still have the ls6 ?Yes I do, as a matter of fact we had it at a car show yesterday. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/08/full-57655-225946-rc_car_show_2024_sf.jpg) Incredible car , one of my favorites . I enjoy watching the videos of Patrick Glenn Nichols ( sp) and his guru status of the ls6

And the sexiest front end ..on the planet And I still have it.Gotta respectfully disagree on the sexiest front end. 1973 that I’m restoring for the second time. 30 years since the last rebuild. Matching numbers Z-28 RS car. NOT a big block. 350 LT1 engine. THIS is the sexiest front end over… Doing your own Body & Painting ????

Does an anemic peanut port 454 count ?... Not from the muscle car era , but a square Lot of gm NOS on the shelf ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/08/full-39098-225976-img_20210714_203130965.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/08/full-39098-225977-img_20210714_203110768.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/08/full-39098-225978-img_20210714_203204697.jpg) Boy, that brings back some memories! My Dad had a crew cab square body 1 ton single rear wheel with a wood floor bed when I was in High School. He had the body redone and transplanted a "built" 454 in it. The truck had come out of Canada and with twin glass packs on it, it would just about make the wax run out of your ears.
I have nothing clever to put here.

A square with a wood bed is rare If I remember correctly, it was a Canadian railroad truck so it may have been ordered that way. The instrument cluster was in Kilometers, I remember that. Dad bought it to pull a 40 foot Gooseneck trailer and with a load on, those pipes really did rattle. As I recall it got somewhere around 8 MPG too. It was expensive to take up town on a Saturday night.
I have nothing clever to put here.
