You are supposed to go around them. A guy is a lot better off getting run over when he is young. I was run over five times in one day, in Fargo. The fifth bull stepped on my right arm and broke both bones just above the wrist joint and dislocated them both. 330 is past young. Hope you get to feeling better quick. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/08/full-964-226478-17021426_1355175354550258_7319103329460360426_n.jpg)

That looks painful 330, hope you mend quickly. Not a cattle hand here, but I do recall swapping out the last Angus bull my grandfather had when I was a kid. The gentle fellow put his head into the bucket of the tractor so hard when he realized what was happening that he rendered himself almost unconscious. Made it easier to get him to the "back 40". I worked for a crazy dairy farmer as a teenager. Every cow he sold he told the buyer, "That's the one that killed my wife." He told me his wife had such high blood pressure that one day she just exploded while sitting in her favorite chair. He had a bull that was always trying to kill me. Or so it seemed to my young mind. One day I was moving some hay bales, had them in the tractor bucket. The bull got aggressive with me on the tractor. I waited until he was blocking my path, lifted the bucket up and dropped it on his head. The hydraulics on that old tractor were shot and that bucket came down fast. I thought I killed the dang thing and was scared I'd have to work for the crazy farmer forever just to pay for it. The bull recovered and didn't mess with me as much after that, at least not when I was on the tractor. Seen a sow pig stick her nose between a buddy's legs and toss him over the sty fence like he didn't weigh anything, And he was a big guy. I told him he was lucky she didn't just bite a fist-sized chunk out of him . Come boss and a bail of hay would work the herd but my grandpa liked a rank bull and would sire his out.

Glad your ok, the results are the same that would of happened here. Same here, not in the same category but had a rooster flog my 11 year old this week when I was home. My wife is down one rooster. Our farm is not a healthy place for aggressive animals of any kind.

Ouch. We used to get a few every Wednesday from the sale barn. You just never knew how they would act when you got them home. Especially if they got a little shipping fever they could be pretty hard to get in to treat. Looks like that one settled right down. Lol.
Looks like he needs another year;-)

Who thinks farming isn't a dangerous occupation? We owe a lot to our farmers.
We are living in a world where the intelligent must be quiet so that the no common sense people won't be offended.

I worked a year for Pat Byrne out of Mill Iron. Fought the Lewistown HS rodeo three years in a row. Grass Range HS show. I was in HS then. I worked in eight states and Canada. MT, ND, SD, WY, MN, TX, OK, & KS. I lived in Gt Falls then. My Dad always told me I would not be able to walk across the street when I was 40 years old. I made a point of telling him I could when I was 40. I went to four bull fighting schools. One was in Mesquite TX at Neil Gays old out door arena. I flew down and back from Gt Falls. I called my Dad to pick me up at the airport in Gt Falls when I landed. He live in town. When He showed up I told him he could get my bag or we would just leave it. I was pretty well beat up. He told me where the PU was and I turned and headed that way. He caught me with my bag before I got there. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/08/full-964-226525-13100703_1089292237805239_6562419853381977834_n.jpg)
