For eating (in order) - bluegill, crappie (cold water only), perch, walleye
For fun (also in order) - carp, channel cat, bowfin, largemouth/smallmouth bass (tie), pike

Bucket List - shark (any type), arapaima, blue/flathead (over 40lbs)

For fish I can catch myself, Perch, stream trout, and crappie

Cold water Cod . Also catfish, bull dolphin (Mahi), grouper, bream, perch, river trout. Triggerfish too. That is a rare one to find.

Give walleye to the dogs to eat if you have to keep them, or throw them back if you don't Catfish is king in the south. Paired with some good cole slaw it's hard to beat
