There should be a specific CCW certification specifically for teachers / school workers. Maybe its a three month course that you have to pass. Maybe it includes a lock box in your classroom. Maybe its Federally ran by competent ATF instructors so that all of the classes would be the same across the country. You'd have to make sure it was a good effective class / certification and roll it out properly. Then teachers, janitors, and the such that have backgrounds like us have the ability to do just that. Nothing Federally ran will work like that though. It could be done with the right people but it wont ever happen. I always wondered why they didn't have a special cert for carrying in a school though. Like an extensive training and certification program specifically for schools. Only the workers comfortable with such a thing would have to do it. Sure seems like it would work if you ironed out all of the bureaucracy and some of the details.
each state and or school board can already approve it
anything Federal is a plan designed to fail from the get go , hardly a gov project or program that isn't any more.
programs that don't fail can't ask for more funding
always more more more , more of your money , more of your rights , more control on you , all for not , all so that it can fail again so they can ask for more.
the only control I have any trust in is local control
a locally elected sheriff
local personnel who have skin in any issue/solution.
then if it is tax dollars at least it stays here.
