Was just thinking on this. Due to there nature seems they would get attracted by flagging ....at least natural stuff , real easy. Anyone ever tir d it ? Seems a feather of ten dangling in front of set might do something

Flagging will indeed get a predators attention both to draw or divert in the right place/location.
Flagging can be a longer distance draw than lure in the right kind of terrain where it can be noticed from a long distance, especially with the larger predators.
If circumstances dictate that you cannot make sets right on an animals travel route flagging can be effective.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I think weasels are attracted to flagging. Mink not so much but I can't say for sure. I try not to disturb or alter my mink trail sets. Otter sets are all in the water so no flagging needed.

I have used flagging for Mink. I feel it works. Problem in Pennsylvania, flagging drew attention to other trappers & hunters. So I limited it's use for Mink.

I trap a lot of mink in South Louisiana and flagging works down here. I normally use just one feather above a pocket set.

Exactly. It draws too much attention. People, coons, & winged creatures to be exact. I do not use flagging for mink

TILL THAT DAY.....
